These two juvenile Blue-faced Honeyeaters had their eye on the prize (the bee).
I was directly under them photographing the lagoon when I looked up and saw them. They didn't care about me which allowed me to get close.
Using a Nikon 300mm lens I was able to gain the reach and get close enough to capture the bee heading towards them, but alas, it didn't make it past the one on the right. You should've seen the look on the bird closest to you in the image, it looked at me and half closed it's eyes as if to say, "that'd be right".
I hope you enjoy this image, I still love it as it's absolute nature.
