Australias largest bird of prey perched on a very low branch. I was in search of birds this particular day when I saw something very large on a low branch, so I slowed the car down to about 5kms an hour and drove just up from the bird and kept the car running. As I grabbed two cameras, which were sitting in the passenger seat, I opened the car door saying, "please still be there" about 3 times and yes! This magnificent raptor allowed me about 15 minutes with it before flying off. I have to say this was the most exciting wildlife experience I've encountered.
